weekend!

I still feel very saddened by the news of Steve Jobs' disappearance... Not that I knew this icon personally, but I just feel sad and deeply touched by this loss. Makes you think twice about the little things in life that bother or stress us and puts things back in perspective... Thank God the weekend is here. This one will be spent enjoying simple life pleasures, a cuddle with my daughters, a family breakfast or just a walk with my better half and Miss Daisy, the family golden retriever. Because in the end, that's all that matters... Wishing you a happy end of Friday and a relaxing weekend my dear. Xo, Si-

  5. I have written about Steve Jobs in a number of my blog entries because I was very moved by him, and particularly by what he said in his speech to a graduating class from Stanford. This speech is something that you and your readers are most likely familiar with, but your blog entry made me think of the following quotes from it:

"Sometimes life's going to hit you in the head with a brick. Don't lose faith. I'm convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You've got to find what you love, and that is as true for work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work, and the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking, and don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it, and like any great relationship it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking. Don't settle."

    AND

"When I was 17 I read a quote that went something like "If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right."

This past March I made a mini-mini-movie dedicated to some Apple staff, if you'd like to view it, please go to the following link:
