When Elina and her husband Ginés visited this Barcelona flat, it was love at first sight. Elina is an interior designer and the co-founder of Spanish studio Minim. Elina's signature style is all about adding furniture and accessories to a room into such a way that the space remains light and breezy, and she tackled the decoration of her new home with the exact same philosophy. Leaving the "old" as untouched as possible, she furnished the space with contemporary design pieces that echo unexpectedly with the Art Nouveau style of the apartment. The floors, the floral details on walls and doorways, and the original stained glass mixed with Swan chairs and Cappellini pieces? Unconventional, maybe, but oh so unique and refreshing!

    1. They are original tiles from the 1910 building, arranged to form floral patterns. The owner chose to keep them intact while remodeling the flat.
